by Elna L. Roberts Pressure from others, the pressures of everyday life and other things we encounter can contribute to some of the reasons people experience stress Nxivm. Feeling pressured into deadlines that we cannot meet is one such contribution to stress. This is a problem that needs to be overcome. Sometimes, advancement is attainable, where stress is a driving factor in some peopleâs lives, which many have a hard time understanding. Often times, these people can do it not just once, but again and again! Have they discovered something that many of us havenât? Some scenarios that include high amounts of stress end-up seemingly breezy for stress-free individuals, which can be used as a way for those who may not handle it so well as a means of hope. We may encounter stress at different times of the day, but at the exact moment we deal with it, we sometimes donât deal with it, we sometimes donât deal with it right at the moment we should. Taking time to think about a stressful decision can sometimes be the difference between making the right or wrong decisions and many people do the latter because they donât see any other options. Taking each minute to determine an appropriate plan of action is something that should be thought about in a calm manner. Something very associated to these situations was found when I was researching different ways to solve my own stress problem. Sara Bronfman with the World Ethical Foundations Consortium hosted a visit from the Dalai Lama in New York. There, he had a presentation called, âCompassionate ethics in difficult times.â What do compassion and ethics have to do with dealing in harsh times? The mixture of ethics, being compassionate and the stress of everyday life may not seem like an obvious match, but if you really think about it, donât you think great conclusions can be made if you use all three?
? How did I arrive to that conclusion? Being compassionate to others that surround us or are involved in the difficult scenario means that we are thinking about them and their well-being throughout the whole decision-making process Clare Bronfman. Making the right decisions is a blunt effect of having solid instilled ethics that are good for decision making. If we donât have good moral axioms, there is no doubt that decisions we make would be clouded by outside influences that arenât good for us. Take compassion and ethics, and apply them during a stressful time, and it seems to me we are more likely to make more solid decisions. If we practice using both compassion and ethics in the way we come to regular difficult decisions, we can instill a discipline in ourselves to make these situations become easier over time.
